Our summer SAT Prep Sessions drew teens from various high schools including: Technology, Science, Weequahic, Malcolm X Shabazz, Rita Owens Academy, Technology, Payne Tech and Irvington High School. The High School Academic Support & Mentoring Program of NJ hosted a mentoring night out to the Yankees Game on August 7th where the Yankees defeated the Atlanta Braves, 3-2 in the bottom of the ninth inning. It was a great experience for our teens, some of whom attended their first MLB Game.
It was great to greet and meet 3000 awesome high school juniors at the Newark Board of Education’s Class of 2027 College and Career Fair .

There were nearly 5000 teens in attendance at the HBCU Fair on November 20th. The High School Academic Support Mentoring Program of NJ was able to share FAFSA, Scholarship applications and other upcoming events for teens. They were truly grateful to receive it.
