Camp College was an amazing experience for the Class of 2026 and 2027. So grateful to the NJ Association of College Admissions Counselors for organizing this event which was held July 21-22 at Georgian Court University in Lakewood, NJ. Rutgers Newark provided breakfast and a campus tour/admissions presentation before we departed for Georgian Court University. We had 48 teens participate from various high schools including: Arts High, Weequahic, Central, Bard, St. Benedict's, JP Stevens, Edison High, Willingboro, Central High School in Middlesex County and Hillsborough High.

The volunteers and workshop facilitators did a great job. The campus tour, buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner was great and the workshops were informative and interactive: The Common Application, FAFSA, The College Admissions Process, Handling Anxiety and Stress, College Scholarships and choosing a major. Staying in the dorm overnight was a first experience for most of the teens who interacted well.
