Truly grateful for another successful BBQ and Backpack Giveaway on August 21st. Our menu was plentiful and delicious from the yellow rice and macaroni salad to the pasta salad and chicken. We thank our grill masters, Elijah, Bryce and Kemoy(Newark High School teens from Barringer, East Side and Technology) and our food servers: Erika Jackson, Ursula White, Roberta Ringer, Elijah Glenn, Nygee Glenn and teens Ramsees and Jailyn (Ramapo College Freshmen who were recipients of our laptop giveaway along with Jahlil, Newark Lab '27. Kudos also to those who helped distribute almost 200 Backpacks: Omayra Molina, Brenda Brown and Nygee Glenn. Congratulations to Ms. Amy Scott and family who won 10 free tickets to Dorney Park and Bryce and Kemoy who won $25 gift cards.
