Our Law Enforcement Career Recruitment Fair at City Plex Movie Theater in Newark was an awesome event. The recruiters from the New Jersey State Parole Board, FBI, IRS-Criminal Investigations, NJ Transit police, Essex County Sheriff's Department, Rutgers University Police, NJ Department of Corrections, and New Jersey Transit Police, were knowledgeable, courteous and insightful. Law Enforcement agencies shared their various career opportunities in law enforcement, opportunities for advancement and the benefits that they offer. There were approximately 100 attendees which included: high school students, college students/graduates, law enforcement officers seeking a career change and community residents who are interested in a career in criminal justice/law enforcement. Attendees came from the Newark community and surrounding municipalities. We look forward to hosting our next Law Enforcement Career Recruitment Fair in May 2024.
